Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-03

This policy explains what information go-supertools ("we", "us") handles when you use the website at go-supertools.com, and what choices you have.

1. Tools that run in your browser

Most tools (converters, formatters, generators, calculators, image, video, PDF and text tools) process your input on your own device. Files and text you enter are not uploaded to us. Each tool page shows a badge saying so. Some of these tools download code libraries (for example video or OCR engines) from public content-delivery networks, which sees a normal web request but not your files.

2. Tools that look up live data

Tools such as DNS lookup, SSL checker, WHOIS, blacklist and security-header checks send what you type (a domain, URL or IP address) to our server, which fetches results from public sources (for example DNS resolvers, certificate-transparency logs, WHOIS servers and blacklists). Their pages are marked "Looks up live data". We cache results briefly (minutes to an hour) to reduce load. We do not build user profiles from these requests.

3. Information we and our providers receive

IP address and request detailsDelivering the site, security, abuse prevention and rate limitingCloudflare (hosting and network) — processed under Cloudflare's own policies
Usage statistics (pages, events, approximate location, device type)Understanding which tools are usefulGoogle Analytics — only if you accept cookies

4. Cookies and consent

The tools work without cookies. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies (such as _ga) to measure usage anonymously. If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer; withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies. If we later show advertising, advertising cookies will also be loaded only after your consent.

5. Legal bases (EU/UK)

Analytics and advertising: your consent. Delivering and securing the site: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.

6. Retention

Browser-stored data stays on your device until you clear it (you can clear your toolbox from My Toolbox). Cached lookup results expire automatically. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not require accounts and keep little personal data, there is usually little to retrieve, but you can ask. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

The site is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
