About this tool
Paste TOML and get the same data as YAML. The TOML is read by the same parser as the TOML to JSON tool (checked against Python's tomllib), then written as YAML with block style and no line wrapping. Dates and times are written as text in TOML's own format. Integers larger than JavaScript can hold exactly (beyond 9,007,199,254,740,991) are shown as strings so no digit is lost. YAML has no way to keep TOML's comments, so comments are dropped. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Common problems
- My comments disappeared
- Comments are not part of the data. Neither JSON nor this conversion keeps them.
- A string looks different
- YAML quotes strings only when needed, for example text that looks like a number or a keyword.
- An error about the TOML
- The message names the problem in the TOML. Fix it and the conversion runs again.
