About this tool
Convert frequency between hertz (Hz), kilohertz (kHz), megahertz (MHz), gigahertz (GHz) and terahertz (THz). Typical uses are radio and Wi-Fi bands, processor clock speeds, audio ranges and optical frequencies. Each step is a factor of 1,000 and conversions go through hertz. The tool converts frequency units only: it does not turn frequency into wavelength or period. Results show up to 8 decimals with the target symbol, and values below 0.000001 appear in scientific notation. There are no millihertz or revolutions-per-minute options. Swap reverses the two units and Copy copies the result.
How to use it

Common problems
- I need wavelength or period
- This tool only converts between frequency units. Period is 1 divided by frequency in hertz.
- RPM is missing
- Revolutions per minute is not offered. Divide RPM by 60 to get hertz.
