About this tool
Lorem Ipsum is filler text that designers and developers use to show how a layout looks with real-looking copy. Choose paragraphs, sentences or words, enter a count from 1 to 100 and press Generate. Text is built at random from a fixed list of classic Lorem Ipsum words, so each press gives different text. Sentences are 8 to 17 words and capitalized with a period, and paragraphs are 3 to 5 sentences separated by a blank line. The words option is lowercase without punctuation. Generation happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose Paragraphs, Sentences or Words.
- Enter a count (1 to 100).
- Press Generate.
- Press Copy and paste the text into your design or page.
Common problems
- Text does not start with "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet"
- Words are picked at random, so the classic opening line is not guaranteed. Type it at the start if you need it.
- You need more than 100 items
- The tool limits each run to 100. Generate more than once and combine the results.
- Different text every time
- That is expected. Copy what you need before generating again.
