About this tool

Choose a video and a watermark image, such as a PNG logo, then pick where it goes (any corner or the center), how big it is (a share of the video width, from 10% to 50%) and how opaque it is. The tool overlays it using ffmpeg in WebAssembly, 10 pixels from the edges. The logo keeps its proportions, and a PNG with transparency keeps its see-through areas. The video is re-encoded to MP4 while the audio is copied unchanged, and the result is named after your video. There is no text option. It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. The first run downloads the ffmpeg engine (about 25 MB) from this site, which can take from a few seconds to a minute on a slow connection; later runs on the same page reuse it.

How to use it

  1. Choose the video as File 1.
  2. Choose the watermark image, ideally a PNG logo, as the second file.
  3. Pick the position, size and opacity, then press Process and wait; re-encoding is slow.
  4. Preview and press Download.

Common problems

The watermark is too big or too small
Pick a smaller or larger size. It is a share of the video width, so it looks the same on any resolution.
I need text as a watermark
Only image watermarks are supported. Make a PNG of your text in an image editor and use that.
It is slow, or the tab freezes or runs out of memory
ffmpeg runs in a single browser thread on your device. Use a shorter or smaller file and close other heavy tabs.
