About this tool
Enter a URL and our server fetches the page and scans its HTML for tracking IDs: Google Analytics 4 (G-), legacy Universal Analytics (UA-), Google Tag Manager containers (GTM-), Google Ads (AW-), Meta Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn Insight, Pinterest, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Plausible, Matomo, Segment, Mixpanel and a few others. It also tells you which loaders are present, such as gtm.js or gtag.js. Only the initial HTML is read and no JavaScript runs. Tags that Google Tag Manager or a consent banner injects after load will not appear, so an empty result means none were written into the page, not that the site has no tracking.
How to use it
- Enter a domain or full page URL.
- Press Find tags.
- Read each vendor, ID type and ID, plus the note about loaders.
- If only a GTM container shows, the real tags live inside that container and need its own review.
Common problems
- No tags are found but I know the site has analytics
- The tag is probably injected by Tag Manager or after a consent choice. Only the initial HTML is scanned, so those do not show.
- An ID looks wrong or belongs to someone else
- Pages sometimes include a third party's ID in copied snippets or documentation. Treat results as hints and confirm in the property itself.
- The fetch fails
- The site may block our server, time out, or sit on a private address, which is refused.
