About this tool
Create a classic meme from your own picture. Load an image, type top and bottom captions and adjust the Font size if you want; the preview updates live. Text is drawn in white Impact-style bold letters with a black outline and always converted to uppercase. Leave the font size empty (auto) and it scales with the picture, about a tenth of its width. Long captions wrap onto several lines: the top caption grows downward from the top edge and the bottom one upward from the bottom edge, and only a single very long word makes the text shrink to fit. The meme is made at the image's full pixel size and saved as a PNG named after your picture. Your picture is handled entirely in your browser and is not uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop an image or choose a file.
- Type the top and bottom text.
- Leave the font size on auto, or type a size to adjust it.
- Press Download.
Common problems
- Text is too big or too small
- Leave Font size empty for an automatic size based on the image width, or type a size in image pixels to set it yourself.
- A very long word does not fit
- Captions wrap between words, and a single word wider than the picture shrinks until it fits. Use a shorter word or a larger image.
- Font does not look like Impact
- If Impact is not installed on your device it falls back to Arial Black or a generic sans-serif.
