Signature Maker
Draw or type a signature and download it as a transparent PNG cut to the ink.

Draw with the mouse, your finger or a pen.
The PNG is transparent and cut to the ink, so you can place it on any document. A picture of a signature is not a legally binding electronic signature in every country or for every document.

About this tool
Draw your signature in the box with a mouse, finger or pen, or type your name and choose a script, calligraphy or serif style. Pick the pen colour and thickness, then download a PNG with a transparent background that is cut to the ink, ready to place on a PDF, a letter or a form with any editor. Drawing works with pointer events, so touch screens and stylus pens are supported, and the line is drawn smoothly between points. Because the file is cut to the ink and transparent, it sits cleanly on any document. A picture of a signature is not automatically a legally valid electronic signature: rules differ by country and by document, and many processes require a proper e-signature service with an audit trail. Treat the picture as you would a scan of your signature: do not post it publicly, because it can be copied. The signature is drawn on a canvas in your browser and never uploaded. The picture is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
How to use it
- Draw your signature, or switch to Type and enter your name.
- Choose colour and thickness.
- Press Download PNG.
- Place the picture on your document.
Common problems
- It says there is nothing to save
- Draw or type something first. Only pixels you draw are saved.
- The typed style looks different on another computer
- Script fonts come from your device, so the look varies. Draw your signature if you need a specific look.
- The line looks jagged
- Draw more slowly, or use a larger pen thickness. A mouse gives a stiffer line than a pen or finger.
