This puts a picture of your signature on the page. It is not a digital signature: it does not lock the file or prove who placed it, and some contracts and offices need a proper e-signature service. The file is handled in your browser and never uploaded.

About this tool
Open the PDF, then make your signature in one of four ways: draw it with the mouse, finger or pen; type your name in a handwriting style; upload a picture of your signature (a white background is made transparent); or add a date or any text. Press Add to the page, then drag the item to the right place on the page, change its size with the slider, and use the arrow keys for fine adjustment. You can put the item on this page, on every page (handy for initials) or on the last page, and add as many items as you like. Page by page, use the arrows to move through the document. Press Download the signed PDF to get a copy with your items drawn on the pages; the rest of the document, its text and its links are kept as they were. The page is drawn with pdf.js and the items are written with pdf-lib. We tested the placing on pages with all four rotations (0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees) and with crop boxes that do not start at the corner of the page, by rendering the result with poppler and measuring where the stamp landed: it was at the spot shown on the screen, upright, and half-transparent items were lighter. Please note what this is: a picture of a signature, like signing a printout and scanning it. It is not a digital signature, it does not lock the document or prove who placed it, and some contracts, offices and countries require a proper electronic signature with an audit trail. Keep pictures of your signature private, since anyone can copy one from a PDF. Your PDF is handled in your browser and is never uploaded.
