About this tool
Choose how far to turn the pages (90 degrees clockwise, 180, or 90 counter-clockwise) and which pages: all of them, or a list such as 2-4, 7. The rotation is added to what each page already has, so a page that was already turned 90 degrees and is rotated 90 more ends up at 180. The change is saved in the file, so it shows the same way in other viewers. Your file stays on your device: it is read and changed in this page and is never uploaded, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and other private documents. The content of the pages is not changed or re-compressed, only the way they are displayed. A PDF with a password must have the password removed first. The result is saved as a new file, so a digital signature on the original no longer verifies in the copy.
How to use it
- Drop your PDF on the page.
- Choose the rotation, and the pages if you do not want all of them.
- Press Rotate pages.
- Download the rotated PDF.
Common problems
- Only one page is sideways
- Write that page number in the pages box, for example 3, and leave the others out.
- It rotated the wrong way
- Rotating by 90 degrees is clockwise. Rotate by the counter-clockwise option, or run it again for another 90 degrees.
- The rotation does not show in my viewer
- Some viewers remember a rotation you set by hand and ignore the file. Close the file and open it again.
